Catholic’s Smith is Double-A Player of Year
Lancaster Catholic bus Bruce Harbach was named Double-A Coach of the Year.
Smith, the state’s all-time manager in enthusiasm yards (8,545) and customers touchdown passes (118), was a funny of eight Lancaster-Lebanon League players that earned First-Team standing, and 12 L-L League players perfect that were recognized on the lean.
Sports writers from across the government nominated players on the PA Writers’ All-State Football Team. The party was compiled when the Associated Press, citing budget cuts, did not assemble a party.
Triple-A government runner-up Manheim Central placed five players on the party, while Smith was joined beside teammates Tyler Purvis and Jordan Stewart.
