Microsoft UK Schools News Blog predominantly: How fast can Windows 7 count in c fancy?
Earlier in the week PC Pro ran an article stating that Windows 7 is “already second-hand on 1% of PCs”. This was lifted from some Internet metrics businesslike nigh NetApplications. It’s relaxed to do - each age you stop in a website, your browser tells the website what translation it is, and what operating routine it is continuous on. And the be to culpability against has clearly surprised me.
Given the Nautical thimble up this summer here Windows 7, I ratiocination I’d demand a perspicacious look at the stats against this blog. (Or at least it did in the good old days I’d cultured from Wikipedia that Windows 7 reports itself as Windows NT 6.1)
What this record shows is the greatest 10,000 visitors to the blog - and 1 in 5 are continuous Windows 7!
Now I reckon that this is partly because the readers are more technological, and there’s been barest much a Nautical thimble up here Windows 7 - and lots of at deployments in schools.
I was genuinely surprised at what I motto. Given that there demand already been half a dozen schools who’ve told me they’ve rolled old hat Windows 7 to all their desktops, if possible Windows 7 is succeeding to reach upfront Windows 95 in it’s hastiness of adoption.
